The Stoddart Family Farm is a grass-fed meat and organic grain farm owned and operated by Harry and Silvia Stoddart and their five children: Connor, Cavan, Harrison, Abigayle and Rebekah. The children represent the 7th generation of Stoddart's to farm in Ontario since the family emigrated from Ireland in 1819.
We are pleased to announce the launch of our Pasture-raised Meat CSA for 2011.
Are you looking to purchase delicious, nutritious pasture-raised meat? Want shopping that is easy, affordable and supports your local small-scale farmer?
Want to know who and how your meat is raised? Here's what a few of our customers from last year said about our program:
" We had avoided meat for a long time until finding this CSA. It was great to be able to find delicious, local, humanely-raised meat and eggs!" -Holly
"Delicious and practical! Manageable portions for a two person family, with a sensible overall price point for such quality. And the lamb melt in your mouth divine!!"
The Stoddart Family Farm Meat CSA delivers:
Shares in the Stoddart Family Farm Meat CSA are simply based on pounds per month. Shares are sold in 4 and 6-month increments. Each delivery is freshly processed at a licensed provincial abattoir and frozen. All orders include a range of meat, some months may be more beef and pork, other months there may be more lamb and poultry. Each order will be comprised of a mix of ground, stew, chops, roasts, sausage and steaks and sometimes bacon or ham.
We also offer a variety of wool products from our sheep. All processed using natural soaps and environmentally friendly dyes.
