Our farm is cooperatively operated farm, meaning we have 25 or so shareholders who invest time and money in to the growing of local produce. Shareholders share in the bounty each week of the growing season. We are also an educational farm, we have tours, volunteers, school groups and adult programs on the farm to share what we have learned over the years and hopefully learn something ourselves.
Last season we grew over 30 types of fruits and vegetables which we sold to local restaurants, 2 farmer's markets and our farm stand. We had a fun first season as we had multiple full moon gatherings as well celebrations for Spring Equinox, Summer Solstice and Fall Equinox. Our mission is " Connecting people to each other and the land through cooperative farming and creative education". Exciting things are up and coming for 2009!
