The Wellness Farm is a family-owned and operated educational facility providing a wide range of vegetables (specializing in sweet potatoes) and pick-your-own small fruits, including blueberries, blackberries, red and black raspberries. "Wellness farming" uses sustainable-stewardship, best-practice farming principles carefully blending natural and scientific practices to produce farm fresh products directly to the consumer. The annual Sweet Potato Festival is held on the last Saturday of September. Our mission has its roots in spiritual wellness, life-long learning, encouragement of a fit and active life with optimal nutrition and the integration of a healthy lifestyle. The non-profit, on-site Wellness Educational Center offers periodic lectures and classes.
