Thornapple CSA

CSAs bring together the people who grow food with the people who consume it. Members of a CSA purchase a share in the farm's harvest and receive a variety of freshly harvested produce each week during the growing season. Members also contribute their time to learn how food grows and makes its way to their tables. In the CSA model, growers and consumers support one another and share the benefits and the risks of farming and food production...

We are a CSA growing nourishing produce that is healthy for you and the earth on farmland located 15 miles from Lansing. We are helping build the Lansing area's local food system. Our CSA provides educational and networking opportunities for members on the farm and in Lansing. We encourage membership participation in the growing and distributing of food from the farm. Our CSA is about building community and consciousness. We hope you will join us for the 2014 growing season! The first share will be distributed June 4th and every Wednesday afternoon for 20 weeks through October 15th.

We will also regularly offer CSA "add ons" including pasture raised meats, eggs, and many other items including dry beans, Michigan fruits, and flours all raised locally by other area farmers.
