We are always looking for productive fruits here in our gardens that grow well without any need for sprays (even organic ones). Fruit trees are hard because of fungal and insect pressures here but brambles and other bush fruits do well.

These blackberries is the best variety of thornless blackberries that we have ever tried. It quickly produces starts to expand the planting and berry production is bountiful. The berries are large and if you wait till fully ripe, they are sweet though the Japanese beetles also like them at that stage. We pick them daily. They have a long bearing season . They produce fruit for over a month, making them a great addition to our farm offerings. We can the juice, make popsicles, jelly , syrup and wine. Blackberries are a very healthy fruit - full of antioxidants.

They do require a strong trellis as the vines are robust! They should bear fruit in their second year. We dig and ship the plants in March/ April /as well as Sept /Oct/Nov, but do not sell the plants in summer or winter. These are a great addition to the homestead in my opinion. We ship them in the dormant stage from late fall till late spring. We dig them to order so can't ship when the ground is frozen here in mid winter. We offer 3 sizes, 3 plants for small gardens ,20 plants for large gardens, and 100 plants for farms. We sell the fresh berries at the garden in July as well as frozen after July .

All of our seed offerings were grown here. I have been a seed savers for 40 years. Our seeds are packaged in original art packets, hand folded with 100% recycled paper. Instructions for growing are not on the packs but are on the listing under the seed template. Books on gardening as well as many catalogs carry general information on growing seeds. I am available by e-mail or phone to answer any growing questions as well. You won't find that service from many sources of seeds. The shipping on our orders also includes the processing and handling charges which is also less or equal to most seed companies. I hand pack each order and drive from the farm to the post office to ship your order.I only ship in the USA.
