Don't put your wine in oak, put oak in your wine! o.b.'s own American White Oak, aged for 2 years, hand split ,and roasted over an open(oak) fire, cut just right @ 18 inches to fit in your carboy, or bucket. American Oak with a heavy toast/char, age in your clean wine for 3-6 months for a nice oak flavor. Adds all the flavors of chared oak barrel without the barrel.
Notes of vanilla,smoke, and black pepper abound. Can be used over again, much better and cleaner than oak chips, or sawdust.
