Named for Amy Boor Hereford, whose grandmother Tappy introduced Jeff to heirloom tomatoes.] Noteworthy for its texture, meatiness, small core, and sweet, full flavor. This versatile tomato is excellent in salads, sandwiches, and sauces. A "two-bite" cherry tomato, 1-1/2" x 1-3/4". Vines are tall, vigorous, and productive throughout the growing season. The Sugar Gem portion of the name refers to the sweet flavor and the tiny light gold sparkles in the red skin.
