The Downtown Toms River Farmers Market is a Jersey Fresh designated market featuring produce from nearby farms plus locally produced food items, such as honey, pickles, baked goods, breads, chowders, raviolis, crab cakes, cheeses, pastas, nuts and candy. It is held in Huddy Park every Wednesday from June 8 to October 26, 2011 from 11 am - 5 pm, rain or shine. Huddy Park is a lovely riverfront park that offers a place to relax by the water or even have a picnic to enjoy your freshly purchased produce. Huddy Park is located at the corner of Main Street (Route 166) and Water Street, and is most easily accessed from Exit 81 on the Garden State Parkway. Go east on West Water Street from the Parkway. It is less than a mile to Huddy Park. Park in the lower level of the municipal parking garage across the street from the park.
