True Ewe Farm is a small, seasonal, grass-based sheep farm located in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, approximately an hour from Washington, DC. We produce natural, grassfed lamb and (coming in 2007) artisan farmstead sheep's milk cheeses.
We follow sustainable and humane agricultural practices to produce high quality foods from Virginia's fine meadow grasses. We do not use antibiotics, growth-promoting hormones or animal byproducts.
We raise breeds selected for their ability to turn pasture into a premium quality eating experience. We offer two kinds of lamb -- naturally lean East Friesian lamb and Ile de France, the premier market lamb sire in France known for muscling, with excellent tenderness and flavor.
