We grow Black Winter Perigord Truffles on the roots of hazelnut/filbert trees. These trees were grown from seedlings whose roots were inoculated with black perigord truffle spores by our tree supplier. Our first orchard was planted in 2000 and the larger second orchard in 2004. The total number of trees in both orchards is 600. We offer farm tours by appointment and sell truffles and truffle butter on site. Tours are offered in spring, summer and fall but not during harvest season December through February. You may schedule a presentation for your group for which there is a $50 fee. Your group may request that truffles (in season) or truffle butter be available for sale at the presentation.

Truffle Butter is available year round for $6.00 per 42 gm. (1.5 oz.) jar. The butter comes from Ashe County Cheese in Wilkesboro, NC and is pure cream with a little salt. The only thing we add is our black perigord truffles. Look for our truffle butter at Sweet Pea's at Briar Patch and Reynolda Farm Market. Truffles in season (Dec-Feb) sell for $50.00 per oz. We sell to restaurants, specialty food stores and individuals. We ship via FedEx or UPS overnight only.
