Tuckahoe Lamb and Cattle Co. is a multi-species, grass based family farm located in Cumberland County, Virginia. We raise grass-fed beef and dairy cattle, grass-fed lamb, pastured pork and rabbit and holiday turkeys. We also maintain a laying hen flock of approximately 350 hens for fresh eggs. We practice high density holistic grazing which allows our animals access to fresh pasture each day. We implement a variety of portable electric fencing methods. Our laying hens call a mobile henhouse home and follow closely behind the ruminants in the pasture. Our rabbits live in specially designed "rabbit tractors" where they have access to fresh grass. Our CSA program allows you the opportunity to more directly support our livestock production efforts through season long memberships and monthly pick ups around the Richmond area.
