With the increasing demand for Farmers' markets, the Tucson Farmers' Market has been actively working on a new site for a Friday market. With the closing of the Udall Park Farmers' Market, and after many weeks of research and scouting, we are pleased to announce that, with the help of the Tucson Parks and Recreation Department, we have found a new home at Jesse Owens Park. The Tucson Farmers' Market East at Jesse Owens Park will be opening Friday, October 15th! The Tucson Farmers' Market East at Jesse Owens Park is an answer to the increasing demand for local, organic produce serving Tucson's Eastside. With strong support from Ward II Council member Paul Cunningham's office, Tucson Parks & Recreation, and Tucson Originals, the Tucson Farmers' Market East promises to grow into a vital and thriving gathering space for the surrounding community.
