Turkey Lane Alpacas, LLC

Turkey Lane Alpacas is a family owned and operated alpaca farm. We raise and sell quality bred alpacas with championship bloodlines. All of our alpacas are treated with kindness and love each day. Since we are a small farm, we are able to give our animals plenty of attention, ensuring that they are healthy, well cared for, and happy.

At any given time we have several crias (baby alpacas) romping around in our pastures. We do give farm tours by appointment and love to talk about alpacas! Financing on the purchase of our alpacas is available and quality package deals can be created depending on your individual needs.

Each spring we shear our herd. Some of the fiber is sent away for processing at a small New England fiber mill, some kept to be handspun here on our farm, and some kept for sale or for showing. Alpaca fiber is quite unique as it is as soft as cashmere, warmer than wool, hypoallergenic, and never picky against your skin. As a hand spinner, I am very focused on growing a quality herd through good nutrition and breeding, as well as a clean living environment, frequent vet care and plenty of attention. All this ensures an excellent end product.

All of our products can be seen and felt in our beautiful country store right here on our farm. We have yarn, sweaters, teddy bears, hats, socks, mittens and much more. Several local Vermont made products, such as maple syrup and jewelry made out of maple leaves are also for sale. In addition to being an alpaca lover, I also love to draw and paint. Several of my art pieces can be viewed or purchased at our store.

Turkey Lane Alpacas is a great place to bring the entire family. See how we raise and care for our alpacas and enjoy the quality products these gentle creatures provide. All our products are environmentally friendly, never chemically produced. Make an appointment today to visit us!
