TAKING ORDERS FOR 2012 THANKSGIVING TURKEYS!!

Raising Heritage Breeds is more costly and time consuming than raising Broad Breasts. While Broad Breast turkeys reach market weight after only 14-18 weeks, heritage birds take anywhere from 26-33. These turkeys range freely during daylight hours outside on open green pasture which is a mix of clover and assorted grasses and have access to 15 acres of woods as well, if they choose - they have a tendency to go visit the neighbor's horse and follow the cats around the stonewalls. They are raised using organic methods, but are not certified organic. No antibiotics are EVER used and they are never fed any animal protein.
