This share entitles members to pick their own annual flowers and culinary herbs at Wickham Farms from approximately mid-June to October.
Culinary herbs include basil, parsley, sage, thyme, tarragon, chives, rosemary, mints and others. Bear in mind that herbs, like vegetables, have different growing seasons. Early in the season, you will pick perennial herbs such as thyme, chives and sage. Annual herbs like basil and parsley need the heat of summer to grow. Speaking of basil, we grow an abundance so that our members can make and freeze pesto.
Annual flowers include sunflowers, snapdragons, sunflowers, zinnias and others. These start being ready for picking in July, and continue until the first frost.
Choose between Mondays or Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m., or Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m.
By joining our CSA program, you purchase a portion of our harvest, fresh from the fields.
