Farmers' Market to Debut June 16 at UMDNJ
Jersey Fresh Fruits and Vegetables, Baked Goods for Sale
NEWARK, N.J. Apples, peaches, tomatoes, and corn are among the Jersey Fresh produce items that will be available at UMDNJ-The University Hospital Auxiliary's Farmers' Market, which debuts on Tuesday, June 16.
Visit UMDNJ's Plaza, located on 12th Avenue between Bergen and Norfolk streets, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., to purchase an assortment of in season fruits and vegetables, such as blueberries, cherries, plums, lettuce, and squash, along with baked goods, including donuts and pies; and fresh-cut flowers. Acceptable forms of payment include cash and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Program and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) vouchers.
