We are a family farm that raises the heritage breed of Shetland sheep. We have a flock of around 75 ewes with over 100 lambs born each year. Our specialities are grass-fed lamb and Shetland wool. We breed a part of the flock to either a Blue-faced Leicester or a North Country Cheviot for natural grass-fed market lamb. No grain! Clover sweet meat! Shetlands are a gourmet meat breed and the lambs inherit the good Shetland flavor as well as high Omega-3 fatty acids. Whole lamb is normally available in the fall and winter but soon we'll be adding frozen cuts. We have natural colored wool from the sheeep in every color as well as dyed wool. I process a lot of the wool right on the farm for the best wool roving and batting possible that spins like a dream.
