Urban Greens Food Co-op is a local and natural food market opening on the west side of Providence. The food co-op will be a cooperatively-owned community market, fully stocked with affordable, natural, and organic foods, bulk items, and local produce. In order to open the market, we are looking for community members to purchase a founding member share. Instantly you become part-owner in the co-op! The more member shares sold, the more equity we will have to pursue the funding necessary to open your community food co-op. Find out how to join online by visiting our website or facebook fan page! While we work on opening, why not try ordering bulk goods through the buying club? Since the year 2000, Urban Greens has coordinated a volunteer-run cooperative buying club that provides a full range of groceries through monthly orders.
