Just west of Missoula, MT, I have a 1/2 acre garden growing over 100 species of traditionally medicinal tea herbs and about 40 culinary herbs. I may start some indoors, but I only grow and harvest outdoors so they are sustainably home grown. My goal is to have an acre u-pick herb park when I retire from my "real job". Now, I grow them, naturally dry them and use both the ariel parts whole and hand crushed in craft products that I sell online, at art fairs and local Saturday markets. I have culinary "pinching" products, spice blends, herb tributes, "in the Raw" teas and tea blends. Aromatic herbs are made into Bath Teas and ball sachets. As I read and learn more, I add more to my fare... My market is local with the Clark Fork Saturday Market,U-Picks by appointment July through September, holiday craft shows & home sales of this year's harvest dried. If you love fresh and freshly dried herbs give me a call at 406-529-3714, see my website or email me!

What a wonderful place to find lots of herbal delights! The only thing better than the beautiful gardens was the wonderful conversation I had with Lori about the glorious healing powers of botanicals. Well worth the trip from Deer Lodge!

Lori's herb gardens were a delight to harvest from a couple of weeks ago. She has a very wide array of culinary & medicinal herbs, the plants look super healthy & well cared for, and the customer service from her & her family was great!
The gardens would be a beautiful place for an outdoor wedding.... [more]
