Just west of Missoula, MT, I have a 1/2 acre garden growing over 100 species of traditionally medicinal tea herbs and about 40 culinary herbs. I may start some indoors, but I only grow and harvest outdoors so they are organically home grown. My goal is to have an acre u-pick herb park when I retire from my "real job".
Now, I grow them, naturally dry them and use both the ariel parts whole and hand crushed in craft products that I sell online and at art fairs. I have culinary pinching baskets, spice blends, herb tributes, "in the Raw" teas and tea blends. Aromatic herbs are made into Tussie Mussies and ball sachets. As I read and learn more, I add more to my fare...
