We are a small, family-run farm whose values include all natural, non-GMO, locally grown, and sustainable agriculture. We enjoy growing heirloom varieties and supporting the seed savers who are protecting the biodoversity of our planet while making these delicious foods available to us.
In addition to fruits and vegetables, our real passion is our chickens. Our flock is made up of 6 breeds of chicken, including heritage breeds, several listed as rare by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, and some from the Slow Food Ark of Taste. We offer beautiful, colorful, fresh chicken eggs. Additionally, we sell rotationally grazed, pasture fed chickens ready for you to cook and serve. We also have Jumbo Brown Cotournix Quail, whose eggs and meat are richly flavored and a real treat. You can contact us if you are looking for hens or chicks for your backyard flock, or fertile eggs for your incubator.
Valley View Farm offers many varieties of heirloom fruits and vegetables. We also raise heritage breeds of chicken for meat, eggs, and chicks. Our mission includes the re-introduction of these foods which have become rare in this age of industrialized farming and global food sourcing.
