Velper Ranch is located in rural Hardee County, Southeast of Tampa 1.5 hours, Southwest of Orlando 1.5 hours, northwest of Miami (3hours) Five years of hard work have been spent establishing new grasses and legumes and dividing the land into small paddocks so that we may practice Holistic Grazing Management. This allows us to rotate cattle on a daily basis so they are continually moved to fresh new pastures.
We are developing a herd of Murray Grey and Devon cattle which are known for their genetic ability to convert grass into high quality beef. We utilize NO antibiotics or growth promoters and our cattle are raised solely on grass. Visitors are welcome at the farm at any time to inspect our cattle which are known for their gentleness and quiet dispositions.
