At Veritas Farms we raise our Heritage breed animals on open pasture, where they’re free to be warmed by the sun and cooled by the gentle breezes of the Hudson Valley. We take a sustainable, old fashioned approach to farming. We believe it is our responsibility to work in harmony with the environment. Our customers are invited to tour Veritas Farms, where they can see how our animals are cared for, naturally and humanely. We provide them with good food, give them room to roam, and let them produce and reproduce with minimal human intervention. Our laying flock is comprised of many different Heritage breeds of chickens, resulting in differently colored and shaped eggs. For meat, Heritage breed chickens are available year round, and Cornish rock crosses raised on pasture are available seasonally. W (more...)
