Verville Dairy has been an operating holstein dairy farm since 1996 (family owned for generations). ONE - Currently, we have black & white and red & white holstein deacon/bull calves for sale. They have a red carrier which means they could produce a red & white holstein calf even if they are black & white. It is a great opportunity to raise your own calf, knowing the feed that goes into them, not chemicals or growth hormones! Also, it is an opportunity to have children raise them for 4-H or for pets. Please call BEFORE you come for current prices, regulations, and for an appointment to pick up your very own holstein calf. TWO - We also have rich dairy compost for sale by the tractor bucketful. Save on fertilizer and buy dairy compost! GREAT FOR THE GARDEN! We deliver for a fee and within 30 miles only please. We can also mail a pail's worth for your indoor/outdoor plants. No chemicals are added! THREE - We sell hay, which sells out quickly! We have large 5-foot round bales that we wrap in plastic to keep out of the weather. They were rolled in a baler that has a slicer so the inside of the bale has stalks of hay that are only 4-6" inches instead of 10 inches plus. This means the animal you are feeding will waste less. FOUR - We sell silage bales, which sells out quickly! We have large 5-foot round bales that we wrap in plastic to form into silage. They were rolled in a baler that has a slicer so the inside of the bale has stalks of hay that are only 4-6" inches instead of 10 inches plus. This means the animal you are feeding will waste less.
Joe's got hay! Right now we have 200 4 x 4 quality round hay bales for sale for $35.00 each with delivery up to 200 miles (with an extra fee at $2.00 per loaded mile). The hay bales are made up of orchard grass and red clover. They are tight and weigh approximately 700 pounds. They were made with a slicer baler, so have small hay particles on the inside, so animals do not waste so much out of the feeders. Call us! 231-625-9228. Thank you for looking.
