A tall flowering annual with pink flowers in mid -summer , this plant with sticky leaves serves as a host for the tobacco hornworm as well as the predator wasp that is a parasite of it . By planting it you can attract the worms away from your tomatoes.
It is the same plant used in Virginia to grow smoking tobacco and used to be used as a natural insecticide (no longer allowed by USDA rules ). We grow it for its beauty as well as to instuct people that it kills insects so why do they want it in their bodys . That why we do not allow smoking on our grounds .

The shipping on our orders also includes the processing and handling charges which is also less or equal to most seed companies. Remember we hand pack each order and drive from the farm to the post office to ship your order. We are not a big seed company, in fact not a company at all. We are homestead gardeners.
