Wacousta Community Farmers Market is held the second Thursday during summer and fall months July through October.
2014 dates July 10 with a Summer Time in Michigan Theme August 14 with a Dog Days of Summer theme Sept. 11 with an American the Beautiful theme Oct. 9 with a Fall Festival theme
This is the market with the block party flair. Held in a beautiful rural setting, this market features more than 30 vendors with an emphasis on locally grown produce, baked goods, salsa and jams plus craft items. New this year will be Fair Trade items including c chocolate and baskets. This market also includes food vendors serving dinner, children's activities and musical acts.
It is held at 9180 W. Herbison Road, Eagle, Mich., across from Wacousta Elementary School. There is plenty of handicap accessible parking reserved. The market is just a short 10 minute drive from Grand Ledge, Lansing's west side, Delta Township and DeWitt.
