95 days. Open polinated. A very uniform and high quality strain of butternut. Vines ramble and produce plenty of 4 to 6 pound fruits with sweet, orange flesh. Fruits are very uniform and dense. If cured and stored properly they will keep for 6 months. An All American Selections winner because it performs well almost everywhere. Butternuts are vine borer resistant. Can be grown on a trellis to save space. C. moschata. We have a 6 plant minimum for shipping purposes. You can mix and match varieties to meet the minimum.

Our plants are sustainably raised in our own potting mix. We use only organic fertilizers and sprays if needed. We have been growing and selling plants since 1997.

Our squash plants are shipped in individual 3" deep pots. They are usually 4 to 10 inches tall and are ready to be planted out in your garden.

We package our plants with extreme care so they arrive undamaged at your doorstep. Each plant is tucked into its own padded sleeve. The soil in each pot is covered so it will not spill out. A plant tag identifying the variety is included with each plant.

We ship every Monday and Tuesday, from late March into June, according to your location or your request.

We currently ship to every state except Hawaii and Alaska.

We are currently accepting orders for the 2015 season. All of our plants are now available to order. Please note that Local Harvest has asked us to raise our plant prices and lower our shipping prices. So, although it looks like our prices have gone up, they actually have not. Once shipping is figured, you should pay about the same as last year. \\r\\nWithin 24 hours of receiving your order, we will e-mail you with a shipping date that we choose based on your last frost date. You are welcome to change the date to any other shipping week. Just respond to the e-mail and tell us when you want your plants.
