The Waltham Farmers' Market, founded in 1991, runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine, mid-June through early November, in the Sovereign Bank parking lot, at the intersection of Main and Moody streets, across from Waltham Common. The lot can be reached by car from Main Street or Charles Street. Local produce, foods and crafts are featured at the market, along with a concert series, and other events. Most market vendors will accept SNAP/EBT cards, for purchase of food only, and debit/credit cards, for purchase of any item. The cards may be used to purchase market tokens which will be accepted by vendors. WIC coupons are also accepted by all farmers. Senior citizens receive a 10 percent discount at participating vendors. The market is wheelchair-, bicycle- and stroller-accessible. See our website for details on vendors and concerts.
