Ward's Berry Farm is a family run farm and roadside market featuring the finest in fresh fruits and vegetables. We specialize in home-baked goods, artisan breads, gourmet cheeses, homemade jams and fruit baskets made to order. We also have a wonderful sandwich counter & deli, a smoothie bar with soft-serve ice cream and slush. Our shelves are stocked with a large selection of gourmet grocery items, and prepared foods to go. In spring & summer, bedding plants, hanging baskets & perennials fill our greenhouses. We offer pick-your-own strawberries, blueberries,& pumpkins in season. From fall through spring we supply organic produce in set boxes for pre-ordering. There are public hayrides during strawberry & pumpkin seasons. Birthday parties & school tours are available year-round by reservation. Free Admissioin to our many picnic areas, kids play areas and farm animals. Challenge yourself to our hay pyramid in the fall. We carry fresh, native turkeys for Thanksgiving and for Christmas we have beautiful trees, wreaths & garland. Please call ahead for seasonal information. We are open year-round.

Since 1982, brothers Jim & Bob Ward have offered the finest quality fresh picked fruits and veggies for sale at their roadside stand in Sharon, Mass. Using the family's favorite recipes, their mother Ann bakes cookies, muffins, breads and pies every day. Terrible crap. Very expensive, most food is from a supermarket (all the meat is Boar's Head?!) and simply marked up. Not organic, and produce is topped up with items flown in from California, etc.... [more]


Ok, let's re-think this based on Wards reply:

The admission fee is to play in the playground (swings, slide) climb on the haystack, have lunch outdoors at picnic tables(instead of inside the store where there are tables since they have a sandwich counter), all that was free before and is free at virtually every other playground and farm in Massachusetts....
