Romneys have the finest and softest wool of the longwool breeds. We offer one pound bags of clean, hand washed Romney wool, ready for carding and spinning. The staple on this batch is 3 -4" long, perfect for folks just learning to spin and for blending with other fibers. Later in 2010 we will have wool available with an 8 - 12" staple, but that will need to be combed rather than carded.
