Certified organic since 1989, we grow over thirty different vegetables, specializing in garlic, onions, fingerling potatoes, heirloom tomatoes, and are beginning to grow more storage crops like rutabagas, as we believe that , with peak oil, all of us will have to rely on locally-grown food to be fed and healthy. We welcome intern applications and like to have one intern each season, when possible. Contact us for more about that. We have a small subscription plan, sell to the Willimantic Food Coop, and at Farmers Markets in Putnam, Old Saybrook, and Coventry, CT. Our Subscription Plan (CSA) runs fourteen weeks from the last Tuesday in June to the last Tuesday in September, with pick-ups at the farm or in Pomfret, CT. Contact us for details. We love what we grow, we eat what we grow and we love being a part of this wonderful new organic and local life. We now have a minimally-heated greenhouse for winter production, an unheated high tunnel, and sell at the Coventry (CT) Winterfresh Market November through the end of February.
