Weeping Radish Farm Brewery

The Weeping Radish has worked for over seven years to build a farm-brewery-butchery complex in Jarvisburg, North Carolina and increase awareness of the benefits of local healthy food and beer. We began over twenty years ago as a German Brewery and today our Craft Brewer continues to create natural unfiltered beer available on draft and in refillable bottles.

We have a German Master Butcher who buys animals from local farms and creates a variety of fresh and smoked meat products, all labeled by Farm of Origin. All of our pork is free range and hormone free, while the beef is 100% grass fed. Fresh smoked local seafood is coming soon!

The 14 acre farm produces organic biodynamically grown vegetables and herbs for retail sales as well as for the restaurant. The Chef creates meals for the onsite restaurant based on availability of fresh meats and vegetables, not based on a pre-set menu. The Farm Retail Barn features a �??¢?¯?¿?½??¯?¿?½?Goodness grows in North Carolina�??¢?¯?¿?½??¯?¿?½? section and promotes educational tours of the facility. Festivals and Events throughout the year promote a sense of community and provides charities with fund raising facilities.

This is the ultimate project featuring all the elements of sustainable farming, educating the urban population and integrating it with the now famous Terra Madre concept.

An organic farm, hormone-free butchery, all natural brewery and restaurant combination, the Weeping Radish in Jarvisburg, North Carolina is definitely worth stopping for on your Outer Banks Vacation! Facility tours, describing the entire "farmer to fork" concept are offered every Wednesday at 11 am. Cost $5 per person, includes a 45 minute tour and a beer sample. Lunch opportunities available in the pub, where all the products are featured. Now also featuring its own home made sauerkraut.
