Wheatfield Hill is a 5th generation family farm dedicated to providing the finest certified organic fruits, vegetables, confections, beef and forages. We are located 1 mile south of the river community of Durand( 1.5 hrs east of the Twin Cities). Bordered on the west by the Chippewa River and limestone bluffs on the east, the rolling hills were chosen by our forefathers in the early 1900's as a suitable location to graze their dairy cattle. Although no longer used for dairying, we continue to tend this land with the highest environmental standards in mind. Fresh, hand snapped asparagus and rhubarb starts off our season each year in May. July introduces mouthwatering yellow and red watermelon, muskmelon, blueberries, sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. September is a transition month welcoming Fall fare or red raspberries, Red Heirloom popcorn, and "slow food" cuts of Beef as customers slowly put away their grills. Organic Toffee and Pecan Turtles are crafted in the farmstead kitchen beginning in October in anticipation of our "Holiday Craft Fair" season. From Milwaukee to Madison and Menomonie to Eau Claire, you're sure to find us somewhere with our holiday gift giving items . .See you soon, Bob, Helen, Chris, Andy, Lucas and Robert
