Whistlekick Pygoras is home to 17 registered Pygora goats. We specialize in friendly, playful, healthy Pygora goats and the luxurious fiber they produce. Spinning Pygora is a sensual experience. And our fiber is something special. Mostly type-B fleeces, the fiber from our goats has a sheen like silk, is unbelievably soft, and is very warm. Pygora fiber dyes and felts easily. It can be used on its own or blended with fine wool or silk. When knitted, the yarn blooms, but does not shed. Pygora often qualifies as cashmere based on the micron count.
We offer roving of many colors, ready to spin, as well as kits for spinning and knitting a cute, cabled baby hat or lace wristlets.
On occasion, we have Pygoras kids for sale to well-qualified homes.
