White Rose Farm is a 132-acre farm in northwestern Carroll County. We use biodynamic techniques to grow premium naturally-grown vegetables, flowers and herbs. We also sell local free-range eggs, local unpasteurized honey and free-range pork. The farm is a feast for the senses - a place that nourishes body, mind and spirit-- a place to bring your family and friends for a visit into the country--a great place for a farm tour. Life is abundant with flowers, birds and bees, toads and frogs. Goats and cows graze in the pasture as geese, ducks, heritage-breed chickens and turkeys range in the grass. We celebrate the Earth and her rhythms with seasonal events and full moon celebrations. We also have internships available.

Starting October 3 until October 31, our friend, Shawn Elli, will build a fire on Sunday evenings in the fire circle he created. The farm stand will be open from 4:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Come for a visit, bring food to grill, enjoy conversation, singing and drumming, look at the stars, breathe fresh country air, listen to the crickets chirping and get connected with the world of Nature and other like-minded people.
No cost to visit (On October 23 we will charge $8 in advance and $10 the day of the event for the drum circle led by Jaqui MacMillian).
We will have plenty of salad and cooking greens, root vegetables, jams, jellies and free-range pork for sale.

The Sweetness of Connecting: White Rose farm encourages connecting--to the land, to the rhythms of nature and to each other--through seasonal events, full moon celebrations, volunteer opportunities and open houses. Flowers, vegetables and herbs are interplanted to promote beauty, bounty and balance. We use biodynamic practices to promote soil health. As the garden soils become more robust, they provide a full pantry of completeness. Sweetness has its roots in fertile soil.
