We are looking for other families in the local regional area (we are in Whittier) who are interested in buying bulk foods on a monthly basis. Each month, we focus on one type of food, i.e. legumes, spices, grains, etc. We will buy in bulk to negotiate the lowest cost, then split the goods and costs with other families. Most items will be dry goods, but we are considering other items such as oils, vinegars, and the like. We are a small, informal, grassroots organization and our goal is to purchase organic, local when possible, and fairly traded/sustainably harvested when possible.
