Our chickens live outside, where they should. They come frozen in a vacuumed sealed package and vary in size between 3 and 5 lbs. They are priced per pound and your order is only a deposit to ensure delivery; you will have a balance or refund at the market, based upon the total weight of your chicken.
Chickens are $8.75 per pound. Please place your order at least 48 hours before the market begins. Add one chicken to your cart for each whole chicken you wish to reserve.

San Diego - Hillcrest Located at 3960 Normal Street at Lincoln (Adjacent to the DMV) San Diego, California 92103, Every Sunday from 9 AM to 2 PM.
San Diego - Little Italy Located at Date Street-India to Columbia -North Side, San Diego, California 92101, Every Saturday from 9 AM to 1:30 PM.
LaJolla, CA. Girard & Genter- SW corner of La Jolla Elementary School, La Jolla, California 92037 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays.
Leucadia/ Encinitas, at 185 Vulcan Street from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays.
Vista, CA., near the county courthouse, from 8 AM to12 PM on Saturdays.
We offer two types of delivery - local delivery to any one of our Farmers Markets, or Shipping. Please ensure you are on the correct page for the method of delivery you wish to have.
*If you choose Local Pick Up, we will have your order waiting for you at the market of your choice. Your total due at market will reflect any deposit(s) you've placed online.
For example, if you place an order for one package of Ground Beef, you will be asked to make a $3.00 deposit online. Since we sell by the pound, we will not know the exact weight of your package of ground beef unitl the day of your market. Since Ground Beef is $7.00/lb, the total cost of your product might be only $5.60 (if your package was .80 lbs). That would mean you have a balance due of $2.60 at the time of pick-up.
