The Whole Earth Center is a not-for-profit natural foods grocery with a long history of buying from local farmers. Our produce department is all organic. Our meat is all pasture-raised on local farms. Our vegetarian deli and bakery use organic ingredients almost exclusively. We also have a large bulk department and actively encourage our customers to buy in bulk.
In the summer we buy produce from about 15 local organic farmers including ER & Son Organic Farm, Roosevelt Farm, Orchard Hill Farm, and Lancaster Farm Fresh. We are a drop off point for Honey Brook Organic CSA.
Our meats and dairy come from Griggstown Quail Farm, Cherry Grove Farm, Beechtree Farm, High View Farm, and Lancaster Farm Fresh, as well as a number of Pennsylvania farms.
