Wigsten Farm

We are a family owned and operated farm in Pleasant Valley, NY. My wife Robin, my son Will and myself, Paul, pride ourselves on growing many different varieties of heirloom vegetables the way Mother Nature intended. We pull our weeds by hand and we do not use chemical pesticides, fertilizers, herbicides or fungicides.

We work with our local community and encourage local college students to work the land with us. We feel it is important that the next generation of farmers is instilled with the same values and respect that we have for our land.

Moon and Stars watermelon, Cherokee Purple, Amish Paste and German Pink heirloom tomatoes and Sibley squash are just a few examples of foods we grow listed in Slow Food's Ark of Taste.

Come and join us! We're outstanding in our field so you don't have to!
