Easy to grow, nourishing plant useful for salads , teas and wine . One of the biodynamic compost preparations (506) helping compost work better to grow nourishing food. We use the fully opened flowers to make wine . It produces a wine with a champane like quality that is very healthful. We also collect the flowers that are not fully opened to be used for the preparation . We also tincture the whole plant and use the ticture as a vitamin supplement to provide potasium and nourish as well as cleanse the liver , The plants are companions in our gardens bringing up minerals from the subsoil . We also use the leaves in salads and to add to our cooked greens . Instead of spraying herbicides to kill the dandelion ,we encourage them in our gardens .
