These plants thrive in the woods especially in a Hardwood stand. We have them in a stand of oaks and Maples. they have a flavor all to themselves, not as hot as regular garlic and not as dry! You do not get an overpowering "Garlic Breath" either. Great in salads, or you can make a sandwich with them as I do!
Once you get them and plant them in your woods, they will yellow and die back. The following year, normally in May you will see them come back. As a single bulblet it will crate another, plus reseed as well.
I sold some of these last year to California and got word back that they came back up this year.
Each plant is hand dug and packed in it's own baggie with the Native soil. All you need to do is clear the leaves from the forset floor and dig a hole to re set the plants,
The season for Fresh is Officially over, but I can still dig up the bulbs for another week. Once the yelowwing leaves disappear, it is virtually impossible to find them so if you have been thinking on buying some this is your last chance of the season.
