Wild Hayer Productions produces videos about small farms, cooperative grocery stores, sustainable agriculture and the local food movement. We are based in Western Massachusetts. Our recent work, "Sweet Soil: Local Farmers and the Berkshire Coop Market" shares the stories of four family farms, a natural foods store committed to supporting them and a community's passion for fresh, local food. Set to a toe-tapping, fiddle-driven soundtrack by local musicians, "Sweet Soil" has been used by educators and local food activists to illustrate the elements of the importance of keeping small farms alive and well.
