Willow Mist Acres Alpaca Farm & Boutique

We are a family run farm that raises Huacaya alpacas, Myotonic (fainting) goats, heritage Narragansett turkeys (for the holidays), German hybrid Angora rabbits, India Blue pea fowl and rare Black Copper Marans chickens, near Chestnut Ridge in the Laurel Highlands of PA. We raise them for breeding, pets and 4-H projects. We have an on-site Farm Boutique that offers mostly hand made garments made from our own herd of Alpacas, llamas, angoras and our pet camel. We also offer hand dyed, hand spun yarns, traditional fiber batts, art batts and washed and raw fleeces. We have organic farm fresh brown eggs from our flock of happy hens also available for $3/doz. (pick up only) and will have deep dark brown black copper maran eggs in the fall of 2011 (the only egg that Sean Connery will eat and prized by french chefs!). We also offer a line of all natural hand made healing goat's milk soap and lotions and bath sets and 100% hand poured soy candles. We have a backyard beehive that produces local clover honey and gourmet honey on the comb. Farm tours are available to visit the animals and the Farm Boutique. Spinning demonstrations available! We are home to the famous "Admiral" the alpaca that was featured on Fox Business News with John Stossel (he had a program regarding tax incentives for alpaca farmers) click on this link to see our herdsire Admiral that we co-own with Hagen Heights Farm when he was in NYC with John Stossel (this was filmed before he came to live with us here is SW PA!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFI2Fuq3dP8
