Willowood Farm of Ebey's Prairie is located in the heart of the scenic farmland of the Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve of central Whidbey Island. We grow more than 150 varieties of mixed produce using sustainable, chemical-free practices and taking advantage of our mild, seaside climate. We sell direct to restaurants and caterings, and to the general public at the Coupeville Farmers Market from mid-April to mid-October and through local specialty grocery stores. Our specialties include garlic, potatoes, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, dry beans, winter squash and Asian greens. We love to grow a huge selection of unique heirloom varieties of produce known for flavor and beauty so come see us for some truly tasty and special produce offerings! Farm tours by appointment only. We welcome requests from restaurants or for special events. Please call for more information.
Spring is always fantasy time for farmers, but we think 2008 will be the best yet...The garlic crop is looking amazing, we expect to harvest around 1600 lbs! Potato seed goes in this weekend! And the first of the early greens are finally starting to do their thing - despite the crazy cold spring. We'll be at the Coupeville's Farmer Market soon and we deliver every Thursday to Bayleaf in Coupeville (and soon Oak Harbor) so stop by for some fresh, local veggies!
