Windmill Farm

Hello from Windmill Farm!! The 2012 CSA Season is accepting memberships until sold out but can also add names to waiting list. If our crops yield well this year, I will be adding more members in June. Our small farm has been a family owned and run business in Gridley since 2006 but we have been working in farming and ranching for over 35 years. Our large Areomotor Windmill in the yard is our signature farm logo. Our farm specializes in fruits and vegetables and we use current, sustainable farming practices- good stewardship practices on the land that combine composting and free range chickens for fertilizing; drip systems for watering to conserve water; plant rotation; plant high nitrogen winter crops to abate early spring weeds and also to add back nutrientes into the soil for the next year growing season.
