Windy Meadows Family Farm raises pastured chicken and eggs and grass fed beef and lamb without the use of added hormones or antibiotics. We process the chicken in our own state-inspected facility under USDA standards without the use of chemical dips commonly used in processing to retard bacteria. Instead, we use ice baths to quickly chill the chicken so that the unique old-fashioned flavor is retained. Our chickens grace the tables of several discriminating Dallas area restaurants as well as health conscious families. Our chicken, beef, lamb and eggs are sold on farm by appointment, or Fridays and Saturdays at the Dallas Farmers Market at the Texas Meats Supernatural booth in Shed #2.
