Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center is a modern working farm in Ray, Michigan. We are a park within the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority, a non-profit organization. Our goal is to educate the public about agriculture. We offer farm tours, educational programming, farmers camp, festivals, fairs, and scheduled horse drawn wagon rides. Dairy cow milking can be viewed daily. From April to October at 10am and November to March at 4:30 pm. We plant about 225 acres including wheat, soy, corn, hay, and pumpkins. We also have a Victory Garden ( a small raised bed replica). We are open 9 - 5 daily closed only 3 days per year (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years) There is no charge for walking through the farm on your own. Scheduled tours are $2 and $3.00 per person. Other programs, fairs, and festivals average about $5.00.
Come view the cows being milked daily at the Wolcott Metropark Farm. Our other farm animals include Beef cows, draft horses, sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits, duck, geese, turkeys, and more. Pack up a picnic lunch to enjoy under our pavilion or in the grove. Bring out your pole and cast into our pond. Take a hike around one of our many crops or walk back and view the north branch of the Clinton River. In the fall go on a horse drawn wagon ride to our pumpkin patch and pick your own.
