Wood Duck Farm rests on the southern boundary of the Sam Houston National Forest, which is about 48 miles due north of Houston. ( Approximately 40 mins. from the Woodlands and 30 mins. from Kingwood.) Our small family farm grows market ready produce fit for some of the finest "white tablecloth" restaurants in Houston, Austin and Dallas. Given the mild winters of southeast Texas, we are fortunate that we are always growing some variety of vegetable or herb. If you have visited the Urban Harvest Farmer's Market in Houston on Saturday mornings, you may have already been exposed to some of our treats.
2013 will mark the beginning of our fourth year hosting a CSA program. While we take stumbled a little in 2009, all of growing seasons since then have been very successful as evident with our customer survey results (see details on our website.) Consequently, while you never know what "Mother Nature" has in store, we are optimistic that we have learned from our oversights and look forward to a fantastic 2013.
We also offer a Home Delivery option for subscribers in the Woodlands area.
We are a sustainable small family farm with over fifteen years experience in growing produce in SE Texas. We are located about 48 miles due north of Houston in San Jacinto County. Our primary markets are high-end restaurants in Houston, Austin and Dallas, but also sell at local Farmers Markets. In 2009 we began a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) (aka "locally grown food Co-op") which services farm share members in Houston, the Woodlands, Conroe, and KIngwood. Visit our website for info

I got lucky and got the best CSA delivery into The Woodlands (and other areas!). I have been a member for one year or two CSA seasons. We love our box!
