These are approximately 22 X 33 inches but larger beds can be ordered. These dog beds are made with a sturdy outer shell of good quality upholstery fabric. The outer shell is zippered to allow for washing the shell by machine.
The stuffing is our Dorset wool, washed and carded to remove any smell that might encourage dogs to chew on the bed, athough puppies will chew anything, so I would not advise giving this bed to a pup. This inside pad is stuffed and tied to prevent shifting and bunching of the wool.
Recommended laundering of the filling is by hand in cool water with a mild soap. A large laundry tub or bathtub would be good. Hang over a rack or lay flat to dry. It will take a few days to dry, or put in bright sunlight. Remember this is pure wool, so I do not recommend putting them in the drier. Because of the great softness of sleeping on wool, these beds are great for older or arthritic dogs.
