Leicester Longwool roving from our special and rare breed of sheep. This breed is very rare and we are trying to revive the breed and use it to it's full potential. The wool has excellent qualities for handspinning; it's lustrous, white and take dye well.
The Alpaca/Wool roving is put up into 8 ounce bumps. You can spin for a center pull which makes it even more fun and fast to spin. All this fiber is grown in Massachusetts and is undyed and naturally colored.
The Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) is top grown and milled in Great Britain. Our BFL flock will be shorn in May and that wool will be processed for sale in the future.
