Leicester Longwool roving from our special and rare breed of sheep. This breed is very rare and we are trying to revive the breed and use it to it's full potential. The wool has excellent qualities for handspinning; it's lustrous, white and take dye well.
The Alpaca/Wool roving is put up into 8 ounce bumps. You can spin for a center pull which makes it even more fun and fast to spin. All this fiber is grown in Massachusetts and is undyed and naturally colored.
Remember, all wools felt. Some take longer to wet felt than others. The colors we make are particularly useful for the creative handspinner or felter. You can make beautiful one of a kind felt pictures and yarns. Buy an ounce at a time and discover the possiblities.
