Our worms are fed finely ground vegetables, mostly lettuce, 2-3 times a week. They also get to have coffee grounds on Saturday. They eat a lot, go a lot, and make a lot of excellent castings. Lab results show good mineral content, and a 29.5% carbon to 1% nitrogen ratio. Microbes consume nitrogen and give off carbon. The high ratio indicates a very good concentration of microbial life present in the castings. The castings are hand screened and very clean. An Organic fertilizer company that purchases bulk orders continue to comment that they get 100% when brewing and after months of storage it still smells as fresh as when we delivered it.
